Pension Consultant

About the Role

This role is based in the Dublin office, covering all of Ireland and will benefit from our remote working policy.  The successful individual will report to the Business Development Manager and work as part of the Business Development Unit. The role is client facing and will focus on new business.

o A challenging target driven role to achieve the sales objectives of CPAS within the construction sector.
o Scheme design and restructuring exercises and implementation of agreed changes and benefit structures.
o Work closely with relevant internal teams to ensure the development and reinforcement of a consistent sales approach across CPAS.
o Plan and implement sales approaches and campaigns with an agreed portfolio of clients and/or geographical region in construction related markets.
o Work closely and effectively with all sales support and marketing colleagues to fully optimise all business development opportunities.
o Preparation and sales pitches and staff presentations.
o Build effective, lasting relationships with key influencers in the construction and related industry sectors, as well as the professional pension network by attending industry events.
o Provide feedback and information on market and product trends, with a view to aiding the development of new products and services.
o Support the BDM in working collaboratively with internal functions to identify opportunities for sales/marketing campaigns and services, which will lead to increased sales.
o Ensure adherence to agreed sales, compliance, legal and regulatory requirements.
o A flexible approach to new occupational pension schemes, including but not limited to AVC Campaigns & toolbox talks as the business requires.
o Referrals to other departments

The Requirements

Essential

o Pension qualification such as IIPM or RPA
o Excellent attention to detail
o Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
o A strong understanding of the relevant underlying Pensions legislation and regulatory environment.
o Have own car & full clean driving license.

Desirable

o Experience in a similar role target driven role.
o Experience in Client Relationship Management systems, such as Dynamics or sales force.
